When the back 4 are named on the team sheet on Saturday, a lot of fans will be reaching for bog roll, I kid you not.

I cannot remember a transfer deadline day more important than this one.

What's the distraction plan for deadline day passing when the window where we strengthen slams shut on a depleted squad?

New sponsorship announcement?
Mystery *interest* for the club?

Cant fathom this at all...unless, well, unless someone's telling lies or been lied to?

I wouldn't think so though. That's not something our owners would do.

In other words...I then expect one or two very good signings...as the budget should be able to support that (according to what was told to us the fans). Thus don't come and say the money disappeared into running costs, wages, signing on fees etc as they KNEW roughly what that would be BEFORE we were told the money is there for transfers etc...thus this whole argument above for me...although valid...should NOT affect our budget drastically (We were told the money is there) for strengthening the squad.

Its all PR spin - if they say we "have money" and even say an amount - they could mean that includes EVERYTHING, and they've technically told the truth, its down to us to assume otherwise.

None of it is right, its horrible but i think thats the truth of the matter.

I predict a takeover rumour, sometime around 12.43pm tomorrow, should take us over the line nicely.
