Sin Bins to be trialled

The GAA have a black card, it's now a sin bin card.. but originally it was if a player got a black card it ment that he'd have to leave the pitch but a replacement bought in, as one of your substitutions.. I preferred it the original way.

not totally against this. offences like professional fouls in your own half when the the opposition is on a clear break on goal need more punishment than a yellow card and free kick

this is cheating, and it needs a stronger deterrent imo

if not a sin bin or immediate forced sub for a player. maybe the rules around where penalties are awarded could be changed

paul doyle’s pretty good on this

this has disaster written all over it... just like VAR... it will create more problems than it solves. Why do they want to fix something that isn't broken?? ridiculous idea..
It will be the same old story thats happening now.

How was he sinbinned for that when last week X player during X game wasnt?

Koff just leave the game alone

Exactly mate, exactly.. Even Lineker has stopped whining about VAR now... they to get shut of that, and leave it to the refs.

Yes mate, much better when refs where the only ones to apply the laws of the game.

The only thing they should keep is goal line technology, i think this works perfectly.

Technology should be brought in and used if it improves the game well VAR clearly isnt.

Pre-VAR I would have been in favour of this ( was also in favour of VAR being introduced). But given how badly VAR is applied it's just going to become another mess. They even struggle to get offsides right which I thought would have been solved with modern tech. As mentioned above, goal line technology is the only one that's worked.

Works perfectly well in rugby but it's a different game. Sick and tired of football getting bogged down with this kind of thing.
