"Since 1995...."

We are the most boring predictable club to support and what makes it worse is that we share the local area with 3 clubs who consistently win stuff.

Honestly cant see us winning anything in the next 30 years never mind 10 with the culture we have at the club.

Kenwright giving Brands a 3 year extension epitomised everything wrong with the club - one failure awarding another failure for a job "well done"
Don't think kenwright gives the contracts out any more mate, you need to direct you're irrational ire at the mighty Moshiri.

Why are you on a discussion forum then? Because you're right, we have no control over this at all. But this applies to almost everything in life, as long as you are not the prime minister, but you still have opinions about quite a lot?
It’s not a discussion though. It’s something every fan and their dog knows and it never changes. Why have we suddenly started talking about it again when Leicester have won a cup?

"Everton has extended the contract of Marcel Brands, the Club's Director of Football.

The new arrangement with Brands, who was appointed in June 2018 and became a member of the Club’s Board in January 2019, will see him remain at Everton for a further three years.

Chairman Bill Kenwright said: “There hasn’t really been any doubt for some time that Marcel and I would sit down and agree a new contract. With Farhad’s blessing it took us around about one play of Z Cars to reach an agreement."

Dont be fooled Kenwright still wields power at the club I've never bought the notion that he's just some token figure at the club these days who plays with a rattle in some day care room whilst Moshiri makes all the decisions.

Well, for me it is a debate about why we have not won anything since 1995, and why we make the same mistakes over and over again. It is obvious to me, and something you acknowledge, that we can not compete with the top clubs financially. Then Leicester's success is quite relevant to us, because their model is quite sensible. It showcases much of what has previously been debated around Ancelotti, JR and Allan. So it's very relevant in that context,

Arouna Koné has won more trophies than Everton football club since 1996

Farhads blessing = Farhad arranged and agreed the contract with Marcel, I turned up to bring the showbiz/drama - bills is a ceremonial role, nothing more mate.

Moshiri isn't going to buy the trainset then let bill keep it and play with it.

Well is it?

They restarted at a much lower level and built gradually. It might not work at, frankly, a historically more established long term club already in the top flight.

No, we need our own model based on where we find ourselves.

Good luck to Leicester, but getting wet panties because another club wins something is typically knee jerk OR something a committed WUM looking for digs throws out.

You're not a WUM are you?
