Ecce quam bonum et quam jocundum habitare fratres in unum.

As they used to say in The Brick.

God reading this back, I was very angry after being knocked out of the cup. I hope Carlo can end this misery for us.

As for Leicester, good for them, I'm glad someone other than the scabs won something, I do wish it was us obviously but anyone who gets one over that lot is ok by me.

This is just another reason why we should really want to get in any European competition, even the ECL, as we need a trophy badly.

Mad how a few home truths trigger the same posters constantly.... makes you wonder doesn’t it?
I mean what few home truths are you bringing us here? We're rubbish and have been for 10 years. How do you think fans are going to change it, They're split into different groups, Some are not arsed because they've seen us win things, Some use Football for social leisure activities to have a laugh with friends and families and others are fans who the team they support to be the best at everything.

You recruit good players you get the results on the pitch it's that simple, We haven't and are suffering for it.

These home truths are that we’re crap, buy crap players and don’t win things are they? I’m sure your answer is to be like Leicester and buy good younger players for a small outlay as well.

Everybody knows this so you don’t have to be a knobhead to the forum about it maybe just accept that to some people even though Everton are crap there world still turns eh?

FA Cup and league cup are priority for us, the ECL might be easier but its vital we dont get stuck in Europa League, if we do that we have little chance of any success next season.
The ECL will have less quality so should be easier

I don’t get your logic though, you don’t want a Europa place because it would affect our league form, then what are we playing in the league for? Because we have zero chance of the title, and a very, very small chance of a CL place.

Can’t remember this but it wouldn’t surprise me. Our players are massively overrated by our fans. Most of them are terrible.
I'd suggest it oscillates. There's a solid core of "world class, brilliant him, gonna be a star" types who invariably flip opinion rapidly to "crap him, would play my dog over him" when form dies or they emerge as merely adequate.

Then there's the "he's crap and I don't care if there's evidence of improvement merchants".

Finally you get the weary evaluators who try to see a broader pattern or picture. Often not always agreed with, but they try.

I'm defo in group 2. Iwobi, bah lol.

group 3s not popular with the types that moan and whinge in threads like this as it requires some bloody patience. The big babies can’t wait a couple seasons to see how a player works out or a manager, or a general club strategy.....they need to have opinions on everything weekly.

it’s that “things are crap right now, so it must mean they will be crap always unless we bin X player or the manager” attitude

(having said that we do need to bin lots more players, because god knows many of them have had their fair go at it and are defo crap)

an example is, if you sit any fan down and ask them if it’s reasonable that a good player has a one off utterly crap season I think 99% will say yeah, but then you read Richarlisons thread and realise about 30% can’t accept the crap season whilst it’s happening
