Loving the Laphroaig also...tried the 10 and 1/4 cask. Looking to try the Ardbeg, never seems to come on offer though.

I rate Aldi's Higland Black 8 YO very highly and it's very cheap, about £13 a bottle

I’ve recently finished off the Aldi Islay single malt. Nice and peaty. Very nice. I see that it and, I believe, the one you have mentioned above have both won awards.
