Single malts

Would actually mate.

It’s my sorta line of work, see.

So, back in the Navy, anytime any one had wisdom teeth pulled, that meant scripts of Vicodin and/or Percocet. Cue servicemembers stocking up on liqour just for the added bonus effects the painkillers would impart on them.

And is this thread open for all whiskeys? Or just the labelled Single Malts?

Pretty tasty.
I could have bought that last night, but I opted for Buffalo Trace.I feel quite good getting it for $70 NZD, because despite having an MSRP of $30USD, it is in a real shortage right now in the states and it is going for 10-20 times MSRP!!

Anything related is sound mate.

Im up in Scotland early August, staying on the black isle just north of Inverness. I've booked a distillery trip to the Tomatin distillery, any others nearby that fellower gotters would recommend?

I wish I could get in to Whiskey. Drinking cheap JD or Bells when I was around 18/19 put me off for life!

Thankfully, I’ve got in to Gin in the last year or so. Like Whiskey, it’s a great British product with huge variety so it can be very interesting.

I'm a 'single malt' man but occasionally have to settle for a bog standard whiskey. I think Bells is one of the best of this category.
