Macallan is a pretty good Speyside whisky, I actually had a12 year old out in Japan last week , long story. For me the 18 year old is a superb whisky, though maybe influenced by frequent mentions in US tv series like Suits , but everybody is different and you just might prefer a 15 .
As an aside , the “new” Macallan distillery is well worth a visit as it’s so different from the traditional distilleries, a great visitor experience.

The online price is au$59...so far so good, proves they can get into Australia for a decent price including their mark up
