What's everyone's favourite peaty Scotch?
It's my brother-in-law's birthday next Saturday and I know he likes peaty Scotch. However, I know almost nothing about whisky.
Macallan is a pretty good Speyside whisky, I actually had a12 year old out in Japan last week , long story. For me the 18 year old is a superb whisky, though maybe influenced by frequent mentions in US tv series like Suits , but everybody is different and you just might prefer a 15 .Been enjoying a fair amount of Macallan at the moment... got to say the 12 year double cask is really good... thoughts on Macallan anyone? Big differences between the 12, 15 and 18?
