Single malts

Yes not too shabby at all but without being one that I immediately thought I'd need to buy more of, if that makes sense. I had a few while out and I've got a 20cl bottle in the cupboard but I tend to go for something else. Horses for courses I suppose.
It was a pressie, beggars can't be choosers...and its the thought that counts.
Despite plenty of educational lectures, aka, the arl fella blatting on about whisky again) The lads whisky knowledge is of the...will he like It if he tops his glass up with ALDI cola...sort.
I blame his mother.

Don't get me wrong I'd be very pleased if I was given a bottle. I just don't see in the taste the extra to pay the premium over the 12 which is one I always have a bottle around. Once your paying mid to late £30's then Bunnahabhain, Talisker, Redbreast, Green spot, Craggenmore and loads to boot are just that little bit more interesting.

But this could easily be someone else's go to bottle if that is what you look for in a whisky.

I'll be opening it at 0005hrs on Christmas Eve / Day...or earlier if possible

Finished off the last few drams of a Dalmore 15 wetting a babies head (outdoors and two of us).
Then we finished a third of a bottle of Dalmore 12.

Put some of the 12 into the empty 15 bottle to start an infinity bottle.

Stocks are low now though. Santa best think I have been good this year.

You'll have to punch in your report afterwards. I may have a dram tonight to see what I think now. If I recall correctly I think it may be a more of a summer whisky?? Fine for you guys down under then!
The price is NOT right though. equiv £57 - au$ 100 = 25 big Macs to give another conversion rate
Edit; summer, winter doesn't mean much to me, I have stuff I like, stuff I like less and stuff I like more.
But I get the concept of 'lighter' taste for summer.
