Sir Landon Of Donovan

Landon would not cost big money. There's also lots of factors to be taken into account in a deal for him which would off set some of the cost. Timmy surely is a sweetner... And the fact MLS know that after 3 years Donovan would be back for a money spinning comeback.

I don't doubt he'll be back on a perm deal, just hoping it's this summer not January or behond!

Lcab was convinced it was November, what's changed I wonder.

It's because the club are doing something unprecedented and unexpected, they are actually actively pushing forward with negotiations to try and get him on a permanent deal by the end of the summer.

The plan was to have a go at Donavon - Dempsey - Pienaar.

Depending how the market goes outs etc - could end up with 1 - happy, 2 - awsome, 3 unbelievable- but i doubt it and wouldnt be without casualties.

Loan marketing as well.

I wouldnt be holding breath either until Aug pushes on.

If this was to happen then I really struggle to see how we wouldn't be bloody ace!

It won't happen though, and I do have reservations about signing 3 players around the age of 30.

Would doubt it mate like us all its wish list stuff, sponds are a different story without a high profile casualty - which wouldnt be plan A - more contingency planning, depends as well on other things and interest from other clubs, the awareness of interest from other clubs by the player/s.

I've given up trying to understand our transfer policy/plans/capabilities/chances.

All I know is if we were to add Pienaar and Donovan to the squad without losing Fellaini or Baines then I'd be over the moon.

I would have been happy Pienaar and Naismith and keeping hold of the our big players - still am tbh. Pienaar is still expected, Spurs are suiting themselves with payment dates etc, which plays havoc with budgets and plans.

I surprisingly expect more after Pienaar - but later in Aug.
