Six Nations 2018. Love it.

I have tried and tried to give it a chance. It is crap to me. Even a high scoring match like this one. I might get on board with 7's.

It's a boring game of attrition with the occasional show of speed and athleticism. It's so very rare to see anyone doing anything in full human stride.

Meh.
Your opinion is noted and respected. Unlike others who say Rugby is rubbish you have at least given it a go.

Yeah Ireland is full of Tories too lol
Well to be fair it’s main base in Ireland is private fee paying secondary schools.
All the main Rugby clubs are based in affluent areas.
It’s very much s minority sport
GAA football and hurling , and soccer have vastly superior playing bases.
Plus we only have a total population of 4 m so drawing from a much smaller pool

I went to a rugby playing school where I grew up but the term middle class doesn't really exist in that part of County Antrim. Everyone's a farmer and only plays rugby cause they won't let us play footie!

Fixtures for February 10th

Ireland v Italy: Ireland unchanged in the backs, but half the pack is rotated. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/42989001

England v Wales: Eddie Jones indulges in some completely unexpected mind games; Wales name unchanged side: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/42989860

Scotland v France: Townsend makes a host of changes, Scottish squad still decimated by front-row injuries: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/42986982

I think we'll see Ireland's backs cut loose against Italy, and I fear for Scotland - their pack doesn't currently look capable of getting parity with the French.

England v Wales looks very, very tasty. Gonna be a couple of yellow cards IMHO.

Getting set for a day in the pub watching the rugby. I'm worried about the banana skin that is Italy but will hopefully settle down and relax watching the mighty men in green once there's a score or two on the board.

Then to sit back and hope and pray that the Welsh can find some inspiration somewhere, get a bit of luck and pull off a shock.

To hell with Everton Palace today and worrying about Big Fat Sam!
