Hibbert is the weak link of the side every single time.

He slows down every attack.

Neville is a great RB.

Based on what? Neville is a awful awful awful player who should be nowhere near the ressies, never mind the 1st team. He is the true weak link in the side

Some facts about Brann...

1. On the way to the last 32 Brann won a two leg tie with Club Bruges, a team in serious contention for the Belgian title this season.

2. Brann are the current champions of Norway, their first title since way back in 1963.

3. The most familiar face in their squad to English fans is former Leeds United midfielder Eirik Bakke.

4. Up front, former Aberdeen and Dundee United striker Robbie Winters has now played over 100 games for the club.

5. Brann came third in their UEFA Cup group behind Hamburg and Basle but ahead of Dinamo Zagreb and Rennes.

6. Brann are based in the city of Bergen and have a stadium with near 18,000 capacity. They are one of the best supported Norwegian sides.

7. Brann will hope for a happier result than previous experiences against English sides. QPR once beat them 11-0 on aggregate in a UEFA Cup tie.

8. 1996/97 was a standout year though, as Brann reached the last eight of the European Cup-Winners Cup. They held Liverpool 1-1 at home before going out 3-0 in the second leg.

9. Coach Mons Ivar Mjelde played in the Liverpool tie as a forward.

10. The Norwegian top division has not begun the 2008 campaign yet as the Tipplegaen does not operate in the harsh winter conditions.

11. Azar Karadzas had a loan spell with Portsmouth in 2005/06. He began his career at Brann but moved to deadly rivals Rosenborg, which produced death threats. Surprisingly he is now back at Brann after a stint at Benfica.

12. Brann have just signed ex-Leeds midfielder Gylfi Einarsson. The Icelandic international played 21 times for the Elland Road club in 3 seasons.

13. Einarsson is one of 4 Icelandic internationals now at the club. The other three are defenders; Olfur Bjarnason has been in Bergen since 2004 and compatriot Kristjan Sigurdsson was a teenager at Stoke City but never made the first team.

14. Sigurdsson and Bjarnason are nicknamed the Eagles Nest for their pairing at the heart of the defence. They share the middle name Orn meaning Eagle.

15. Thorstein Helstad is Branns danger man. He scored 62 times in 124 games in his first spell (1999-2002). He moved to Austrian football and then Rosenborg. Since he returned to Bergen in 2006 he has 24 strikes in 36 games.

16. Hakan Opdal won the Goalkeeper of the Year award in Norway for both 2006 and 2007.

17. 2007 was Branns third title- the previous two came in 1962 and 1963. They have won the Cup six times, the most recent in 2004.

18. From the 1960s to the Millennium, Brann were known as an unstable club but now they are one of the best run clubs in Norway and going through the best period in their history.

19. Among the club old boys are Paul Scharner, Tore Andre Flo and Claus Lundekvam.

20. In late January Brann signed Australian international full back Michael Thwaite from Wisla Krakow.

21. Brann went through the last season without defeat at Brann Stadion (Brann Stadium).

22. Brann where founded back in 1908, making this year an annivercary.

23. Most of the teams in Norway have a "continental" supporter culture, meaning the use of drums in the stands and singing without reflecting whats happening at the pitch.

The Brann supporters are more similar to or affected by the English football culture, wich in my opinion is far better.

Anyway, there is a HUGE interrest and knowing for English football among many Norwegians. Pubs in Norway is filling up when showing Premier League matches. Many people also pay for tv channels at home only for these matches.

All of us is raised with the "match of the week" every saturday at the national tv- channel 1969 - 1995. Everton where involved in 37 of them.

24. Brann is in a periode of increasing their stadium. The last few years they have increased the seat capacity to about 17.000. Further expandation is planned and the final result will be Brann Stadium about 23.000 all seated.

25. Branns slogan is: Ekte lidenskap har et navn; Real passion has a name.

Tbf, i cant really do a proper prediction, i dont know nout about Brann, they must be decent to get through the group stage though.

To be fair we got a bit lucky in the group stage. Any of the three teams (Brann, Zagreb and Rennes) that finnished behind Basel and Hamburg could have gone to he last 32. If Zagreb hadn't gotten an early red card against us we might not have won that game and gotten three very important points. Im not saying this will be a walk in the park for you, and i hope and think Brann will give you a fair fight. At least at home court. But we're clearly undedogs, and off-season which migh be a huge advantage for you.

Player by player you have much more quality. Think i read somewhere that your offence alone is worth almost twice as Branns year budget. Therefore i think our best hope is that Everton doesn't make as much out of this match as we do.

My predict for the matches is 1-1 at Brann stadium and 2-0 at goodison. (though i hardly ever get right)

This is maybe the most pessimistic prediction i've ever done when it comes to Brann, and tomorrow i will put on my optimistic face again :) I'll just hope you will do the same mistake as many teams have done so far in the uefa-cup and think little of our "pitty" little club far up in the north. At least before the match :D

P.S. Sorry if my english is a bit bad ;)

We had a bad period with some injurys and many reserves playing. You know, the group stage is beeing played after our season is over, so you get the feeling the club doesn't play at their best. But we should have beaten Rennes, and we did deserve the win against Dinamo, even though Dinamo got a red card in the first half. But we've played [Poor language removed] in the UEFA-cup, or at least thats what i feel, but i think it can be explained by the standards of the clubs we play against, who are better that the clubs we play in the norwegian league. We don't get to play our "Brann-football", but we had a good match away in Brugge and went trough:

Here is also a summary from our season, so you can get the idea about Brann.

Nil Satis Nisi Pessimum

Local police in Bergen just confirmed that they would only stop Everton fans from entering the Hansa (Frydenbø stand) end, which means that Evertonians with tickets elsewhere in the home sections can stop worrying about a repeat of the treatment they received in Alkmaar.

As Danny already mentioned, we are influenced by the Anglo-supporter culture... Our local supporter band "Den 12. Mann" (no translation needed) has written several songs. I have posted some of them here:

Den 12. Mann - Hilsen Fra Bergen

Den 12. Mann - Bataljonen

Den 12. Mann - Så Lenge Hjerte Står I Brann

Obviously, they sing in Norwegian (y)
