Sligo Rovers v Everton, Friday 19th July, 4pm

Main thing in pre season is no one major gets injured.

Last year Myko, McNeill both picked up injuries and neither were seen until September. DCL also barely featured and missed the opening weekend but then came back for Villa where he picked up the facial injury and missed another month.

That was a big part of 1 point from first 5 games before things then settled down with some decent wins up to Xmas.

In an ideal world it would be good to have got another CB signed up by now so they can play 3-4 pre season games alongside Tarks while Branthy is on holiday but given the takeover news today it's a long way from that still.

a much as keane is poo and hole hate

what every £1s we have need the be spent priority positions

Lost the last game against Sligo by 2 goals so this is a plus 😂 entertaining game though.
Maupay was like a terrier dog and tried alot TBF. DCL was absolutely shocking bad. McNeil was the standout in the first half. Duke a bit iffy. Gana was decent
Second half I thought Dixon was very good. Great pace, dribbling and skill and looks a talent. Garner did fine and was looking for the ball the whole time. Harrison worked his socks off and seemed to take the game extremely seriously which was great to see. Young was poor.
Chermiti didn't do a whole lot but took his goals brilliantly. Looks a bit lightweight but if he bulks up could turn into something good.
Beto ..same crack as last season. Loads of effort and will but just always that crucial few inches away from turning a chance to a goal
