I'm sorry to read you were having a bad day, I hope the pain has gotten better.Having a really bad day today, Naproxen / Zapain have hardly touched the pain, I am back in work tomorrow morning so hopefully can get it to ease by then. One good thing is I get to see the consultant tomorrow evening in the Nuffield in Chester to get my results from my Mri scan so hopefully he can get to the bottom of this bloody problem.
Sorry to hear that mate hope you get it sorted.I'm sorry to read you were having a bad day, I hope the pain has gotten better.
Good luck mate.Got my scan results from my consultant, I now have two herniated discs L2/L3 and L3/L4. He managed to get my scan from 2 years ago sent him from a different hospital and the L3/L4 disc is no worse than 2 years ago which is good news, unfortunately I now have the other disc herniation to cope with. He is going to try some spine block injections at the end of the month to see if that helps and organise some physio for me. If that does not work then we are looking at surgery.
Good luck with the injections, worth giving it a try before going under the knife. Sending best wishes your way.Got my scan results from my consultant, I now have two herniated discs L2/L3 and L3/L4. yeah chiro will only be effective if she carries on doing it and that is obviously costly. It will take longer than 4 sessions either way. Thanks for that . She has actually had about 4 sessions with a chiropractor but after about a day the pain came back. She is hoping to have some physio shortly and is going on stronger tablets today but thanks anyway Al your advice is much appreciated. ?

I'd recommend yoga. Any stretching and mobility exercises she can manage. They can be very light, start off really cautious and just 5/10 mins at a time, then maybe move to twice a day 2 x 10 mins. There's lots of lessons on YouTube or she could google specific back stretches etc for her issue. Foam rolling etc too.
Hi mate, I know only too well what you're going through, 15 years of being a prisoner to back pain, heavy construction work. I now have 5 discs removed L4 and L5, and three in the neck. Thank god I got it done because it was grinding me down. If you need any help or advice just ask.Got my scan results from my consultant, I now have two herniated discs L2/L3 and L3/L4. That sounds horrendous, all done at once or separate times?Hi mate, I know only too well what you're going through, 15 years of being a prisoner to back pain, heavy construction work. Two separate operations in Dublin, lower back first, 4years later ACDF in the neck, one disc had ended up in my spinal cord. A Professor had to complete that operation. I feel for Welsh toffee because he is me years ago. I can remember crying at the bottom of the stairs because I couldn't make it up with pain. My help is always there. That sounds horrendous, all done separate times
My wife was crying with the pain all the time. But hopefully she seems to be getting better now.Tw
