Mainly defended him since he joined as he is a young lad who is still learning and developing. But I do understand why people had trepidation about him with his stats pre Everton etc. I don’t think he was signed as a starter for every game though, and was meant to be a rotation option with him, gray and Gordon.

Had some poor games, some average games and some boss games. Like most of our young lads (Patterson, Onana etc).

Get frustrated in some games want him off the pitch, but the young players especially need our backing to develop and I think people forget he is only 21 as he seems to have been about for Burnley for years.
