we simply don't know enough about what goes on behind the scenes and it does seem that he's been more or less abandoned since he got here to do more than a manager would normally do.
How much was coaching Dom and how much was having three genuinely quality players doing all the leg work of putting in on a plate for him to tap in?So this has wound me up big time and more so in the 'details', because we know Sean likes them, of what he said.
"it's a very difficult skill to just teach someone how to smell a goal, how to smell the right place to be, how to find a pathway through football, most see it quicker than the opposition, most see it quicker than defenders, it's like an intuition. So to teach intuition, is very very difficult. So maybe sharpening finishing practices, well any pro licensed coach, which we all are, should be able to do a finishing practice. Even top strikers when I've spoken to them, and I know a few, for them to pass that knowledge onto someone is very difficult."
Here is the thing my balding theropod friend you already have a striker who can "smell a goal", "smell the right place to be", as we've already seen it with our own eyes and been told it by one of the greatest club managers in the history of the game.
He identified the qualities in the players, he coached the players and he implemented a tactical system to get the best out of the players available.

Davide on the 'system'.
Ancelotti didn't bitch and moan about what went on before, or how he was still trying to fix 'problems' after being in the job for over two years. Despite having your pro-license the simple fact is you're just not a very good manager or coach, just very very mediocre. About time you stopped whinging and cleared off.
He’ll doOh god.
At which point Dyche pulled his six year old nephew to one side and berated him for ill discipline vacating his defensive position and not blocking the passing laneWhen asked why he thought it was necessary to not utilise a striker coach, the Everton manager said:
“My nephew, he’s six. He’s got a goal at the bottom of his garden and he manages to hit the target just fine. He’s never needed a striker coach, so I’m not sure why you’d think any of my players would?”
There you have it folks. Straight from the horses mouth.
Quite unbelievable, really.
Already on loan to the MLS I believe.Farage on free signing from Clacton?
The style more than the players supplying. Dom got more chances and they were teed up for first time finishes or crosses from the byline. Massive difference to what he gets nowHow much was coaching Dom and how much was having three genuinely quality players doing all the leg work of putting in on a plate for him to tap in?
It's easy to point to the coaching or style but the fact is James, Siggy and Richarlison were leagues better than what we have feeding Dom chances now.
Dom still misses the few chances he gets though.
Surprised he's let the six year old back on the grass.....At which point Dyche pulled his six year old nephew to one side and berated him for ill discipline vacating his defensive position and not blocking the passing lane
He's put the hard yards in.Surprised he's let the six year old back on the grass.....
Driven by Dyche in a short-sleeved white shirt.I thought the players all travelled on the same coach?
