Don’t need a striker coach when you don’t aim to score goals.

"Beforehand, I was guilty of doing a lot of my best work away from the goal. But now I am getting in between the sticks and putting the ball in the back of the net." Stands out for me as he's gone back to his old ways. Have him stay right between the sticks, and have a stiker coach work on his one touch finishing and voila we will have our carlo dom backSo this has wound me up big time and more so in the 'details', because we know Sean likes them, of what he said.
"it's a very difficult skill to just teach someone how to smell a goal, how to smell the right place to be, how to find a pathway through football, most see it quicker than the opposition, most see it quicker than defenders, it's like an intuition. So to teach intuition, is very very difficult. So maybe sharpening finishing practices, well any pro licensed coach, which we all are, should be able to do a finishing practice. Even top strikers when I've spoken to them, and I know a few, for them to pass that knowledge onto someone is very difficult."
Here is the thing my balding theropod friend you already have a striker who can "smell a goal", "smell the right place to be", as we've already seen it with our own eyes and been told it by one of the greatest club managers in the history of the game.
He identified the qualities in the players, he coached the players and he implemented a tactical system to get the best out of the players available.

Davide on the 'system'.
Ancelotti didn't bitch and moan about what went on before, or how he was still trying to fix 'problems' after being in the job for over two years. Despite having your pro-license the simple fact is you're just not a very good manager or coach, just very very mediocre. About time you stopped whinging and cleared off.
Them and the bloody goalkeepersThey should travel with the rest of the team imo
Maybe it's cause and effect. Maybe he's gone back to "doing his best work away from goal" because he feels he isn't getting the delivery he needs. Him being away from being between the goal posts has clearly limited his scoring. How much was coaching Dom and how much was having three genuinely quality players doing all the leg work of putting in on a plate for him to tap in?
It's easy to point to the coaching or style but the fact is James, Siggy and Richarlison were leagues better than what we have feeding Dom chances now.
Dom still misses the few chances he gets though.
I wouldn’t mind, but the coach had plenty of room at the front as well as rest of the squad were sat at the back in a tight defensive shape.I thought the players all travelled on the same coach?![]()
I’m sorry. Do you generally expect Sean Dyche to play any attacking football?we have no striker coach, and our manager doesnt think we need one? Like am i living in reverse world or something? Like i know Dyche likes to be defensive but come on "you can't teach intuition" spoken like someone who doesn't realise young footballers develope.. no wonder we are probs one of the lowest scoring teams the last few seasons but no its ok lets carry on with no goal scoring defenders or midfielders coaching our strikers how to do striker things like score... please can someone at our club see sense (more chance of a rashford/DCL swap)
Doesn’t gel well with foreign players.Farage on free signing from Clacton?

4-4-2 can be quite attacking if used the right way so maybe a little bitI’m sorry. Do you generally expect Sean Dyche to play any attacking football?
