RM needs to come clean about jags and actually tell us what's going on. I can't believe a pulled hamstring takes this long to recover from and I have completely torn mine a few times. There is more to this jag problem than meets the eye.

Lukaku is one of those typically overhyped young players, I would cry of we bought him, he is so turd. (Ready made Drogba replacement LOL)
Bony craps on him in every aspect, I would even prefer Kone, atleast we know he would make runs.

As for Barkley he had his worst game in an Everton shirt today, no thrust or penetration, just walking around doing backwards passes like a Carrick without the holding mentality.

Gerry has been awful, and I don't see how he can be starting ahead of McGeady, maybe its Martinez buttering him up so he signs for another year.

Thats me done.

I really don't care if us beating City hands the sh*te the league. We're Everton and we should be focusing on our own performances and league position, not worrying about them across the park.

Finishing fifth (or fourth with a stroke of luck) will be outstanding for Bobby's first season, and as disappointed I am with today's performance, this season overall has been quality.

COYB!
Well said.

The kids are always going to be variable as well - brilliant one minute, awful the next.

Consistency is one of the things they will learn as they get older along with the mentality to recover when it all goes wrong. Think the early goal kicked them in the teeth. Stones really missed Distin or Jags direction today as well - alcaraz is a bit too similar a player to him.

Spot on that, you can't rely on the younger lads to be top notch every week. Got to look towards the more experienced players to drag you through games like today which we were missing.
I know it's not Lukaku's game to be a target man who can hold it up but he's got to add a bit of it to his game as sometimes we desperately need it. You look at him and Lambert today (also a vast difference in experience) and he was getting the ball, keeping hold if it and allowing players to get up the pitch. Lukaku seems to play constantly like he has to go into full attack mode when he gets the ball.
