It goes without saying I think that too. It's not him though. He's a diamond.

I disagree the Arsenal game was the pressure game. We were the outsider looking to pull back on Arsenal;. The real stress games are the ones where you have your head in front or are neck and neck. We dont produce. Martinez is dealing with some flawed characters in that dressing room.

Maybe bottling [Poor language removed] is the wrong phrase to use, but they are not a set of players with any great amount of belief, that's for sure. Been saying this all season about getting the Moyes stain out of the club. This is precisely why.

Spot on.

Spot on legs, the players who this season have either played well more minutes than previously or at least than they have for 4-5 years are showing it, Barkley, Lukaku, Delefeou and Barry are all looking fatigued, shows the need to have the quality depth we all want
The kids are always going to be variable as well - brilliant one minute, awful the next.

Consistency is one of the things they will learn as they get older along with the mentality to recover when it all goes wrong. Think the early goal kicked them in the teeth. Stones really missed Distin or Jags direction today as well - alcaraz is a bit too similar a player to him.

I accept a defeat but I don't accept not even trying. After the 2 own goals it looked like the players already had their excuses as to why we lost and didn't have to bother.

Sigh... deep breath, disappointed at what might have been. But considering the massive injury list, couple of misplayed balls, ref decisions, etc. all in the same game... get it out of the system and finish the season with a couple of wins and build to an even better 14/15

Nice one Mike, except that a - you're not from anywhere near Arsenal and b - you're actually called Mike.

Ive calmed down slightly.

This season, regardless of today's result has been brilliant. I've genuinely enjoyed watching Everton play football, at times under Moyes we were massively predictable and played awful football, Roberto breath of fresh air.
If you offered me 5th place, Europa League and our HIGHEST points total in the Premier League at the beginning of the season i would of snapped your hand off.

You get the feeling that the Moyes era is still fresh in players minds, with that i mean, the bottling, or shitting ourselves in big games seems to still be there at Everton, but if anyone is going to remove it, its Roberto Martinez.

We'll be even better next season whilst taking the piss in Europa. Up the 'TON.
