Worst I've ever seen Everton play.

Can't help but think what a great season we've had though. If the lads turn up against City, get the three points needed at Goodison then we can go off on a high with a pretty good 'transitional' season.

As I've said a few times we'll likely finish fifth with a high GD and highest points total in our PL history in a so-called 'transitional' year. Next year we'll finish inside the top four. Arsenal, Manchester United and Spurs will not better us over 38 games. We'll be straight out the blocks and no drawing three games consecutively whilst getting used to a new style. Exciting times lie in wait blues. Take this on the chin and enjoy how good we're becoming.

Just listened to Pochettino's after match press conference and he's talking so much unbelievable bull****. Even with a translator he sounds like a toss pot.

We'll finish 7th now. Not one player wanted that today. People actually thought Alcaraz was good cover for Jags + Distin?? Barkley, Lukaku + Del so overrated. Boss subs from Roberto again too! How did Naismith play 90mins?

we'll do well to finish 7th next season when United + Spurs get decent managers. Don't worry though, Roberto has it sorted - he has Cleverley, Rodwell + Ivan Ramis lined up. Bring in Dele Adebola aswell, more mobile than Lucacku

I've not read any of the undoubted knee jerking but :-

a ) we're fifth , which, pre-season, 98.72% would have taken and

b) I've met some really sound Blues today from GOT who I almost certainly wouldn't have met if it wasn't for this place.
We're Evertonians, that's all that matters.

That's the right spirit mate, we constantly go on about other teams fans being expectant of success and throwing strops etc yet at times were are own worst enemy, we've had a cracking season, some great performances and yeah some bad ones as well, but the future is massively positive but the negative attitude has become deep rooted in some and will need time to work out of their systems now i think (fans and some players)

Get 5th, let's enjoy Europe and get the name everton known around dodgy foreign places again. Push on for top 4 from the get-go next season and do it all in a style befitting this great club, this time next season we could be sat in the top 4 with a fa cup final to look forward too and the second leg of the eufa semi final against Inter Milan or Benfica still to play at Goodison. that's how I wanna think about the effect this season will have on the next
