Can't actually believe how poor that was, yeah they have a little of the new boss "bounce"factor but they had won one home game all season, second half watching us in particular I would have thought it was us two up,keeping hold of the ball in our own half,no urgency,no desire/passion,i mean at one point we had Southampton, yes Southampton fans giving it the big one to us,nothing in midfield, nothing up front, gomes and siguurdsonn look out of sorts and disinterested, gueye maybe is looking elsewhere,we need to get digne, bernard and Lookman in the game more as they offer our only attacking threats,i suppose we will have another rallying call before Millwall now,but another performance like today there and our season ends next week

I have no issues with 'transition' and 'bedding in' - and have no desire for another bloody change in management BUT

Why are we getting worse the longer the season goes on? Surely the opposite should be the case?
To be fair, the good spell was a blip if you include pre-season lol

Forget about this result, and the season so far, everyone.

Exciting news!!!!

Everton have bulk purchased 10,000 Spear and Jackson shovels from B+Q.

A 'hugh' step towards the new stadium according to club.

Playing possession based football without intelligent runs and movement is like drinking poison and hoping someone else will die. Even championship sides will defend that all day long. Ball to feet isn't always a good thing

Would be nice to get one of those instant impact mangers that everyone seems to getting lucky with
I totally agree and as @Athletico Timbo alluded to in another threat, there's growing worries that we may not be progressing in the right direction as we require.

Nevertheless, we've chopped and changed our managers a fair bit recently, which really doesn't work, so we have to try to embed some stability.

That doesn't mean he has a free hand to do whatever he wants regardless of our results; instead, it means we need to give him chances within fair limits.
