I am sorry I have not read all the posts so forgive me if I am repeating what somebody has already written. I would like to ask why are we always seeing the same old faces on the bench, why are we not even putting a couple of the young lads on the bench, after all the u23s and u18s are doing well this season, when is Tosun ever going to win a ball in the air, in fact why is he even wearing an Everton shirt, when are we going to get a couple of players who can pass a ball to each other. Rant over.

He is void of passion, hence why the team is too. Players look to the manager in how to react and respond. Blank stares from him means blank stares from the players

This is one of my worries Gary.

It’s great that he’s cool and calm but I do get the impression that although they feel loved in training and off the pitch, they feel very much alone once they get on the pitch on match days.

It’s not like we have a solid character or leader in the team that can give them a kick up the backside and a jolly up.

We get periods of pressure and I look at Silva thinking “I’d be screaming at them to try and get a reaction”, but he’s just standing there, watching quietly...

I think the big question is WHY:

Do our players usually lose 50/50 challenges
Do we only take a shots at goal when the opposition defence have had time to get in the way
Are we so slow to bring the ball out of defence
When we do actually get the ball out of defence, does the player in possession not pass to a better placed colleague
Do we get the ball up to the opposition penalty area and pass it back to Pickford (I'm waiting for the game when we get a penalty, and the penalty taker hits it back to Pickford)
Am I even bothered, Rugby League season starts in a couple of weeks lollol
