Hope he doesn't make the same mistake as he did against Newcastle. Need to make changes so we are not overrun in midfield away from home.

From the off? See it's a difficult one as we cant change that starting 11 after how well they performed, but Southampton away is a totally different game.
Might need a change in tactics perhaps, even though we have a few games to rearrange I'm glad we didnt have one this week giving us 7 days to prepare for this Saturday.

I'm not sure these will be much tougher than Leeds. We didn't allow Leeds to play, and I don't see why we cant do the same to Southampton. They might be more organised but if we put them under pressure high up the pitch again, we will get plenty of chances to beat them.

Southampton have 6 wins all season, so the same as us. They have more draws, but with our tails up from last week, we can go there and get a result. I'll go for a 1-2 away win.

One to watch out for maybe lol

Sneaky buggers. Looking at their results, though, in 10 of those games the score didn't change after they employed this tactic; in 2, the result was worse for them afterwards; in 1 game (Newcastle), they were losing and went on to draw and in the other (Spurs) they were drawing and went on to win.

Having said that, you could argue that the draw with City could have been worse for them without a boost, even though they had been ahead. I think they were the better side v Utd, who got a bit lucky?

No doubt we'll see it again this weekend, unless bad Everton turn up, in which case they won't need to bother.

I think that's the way we have to approach things at the moment, at least till summer when we can strengthen the defence

Outscore everybody. Least it'll be exciting.
