Southampton are absolutely unpredictable. Seen them play about a dozen times this season and they've been both awful and superb, sometimes in the same game.

Keep it tight, hit them on the break, 1-2 away win.

I don't know about that, I think, with our defence, sitting back and waiting to hit teams on the break just means we will invite pressure onto our defence who will wilt and concede. We saw enough of that under our previous manager. Our best chance on Saturday is to play as much of the game as we can in Southampton's half. Press them high and don't let them settle. A draw would be a great result here, but, I don't think keeping it tight and sitting back is the best way to get a result. We just aren't good enough in defence.

This is going to be a v. tough one. I've been impressed with Southampton this season. A similar style of play to Brighton (perhaps less consistent), with two utter nuisances in Che Adams and Broja up front, so defensively we're going to have to be flawless if we want to take anything from the game. And for the love of God, try not to concede needless free kicks within 35 yards of Pickford's goal. Ward-Prowse almost a near certainty to score.
