And I thought the vomit inducing “its coming home” rubbish died with the World Cup. It’s just a fancy way of doing friendlies ffs.
They're playing as a team under a manager with a plan. I think that's the main difference...no Rooney, no Gerrard and no Lampard and England become more competitive. All very fine footballers and automatic choices but it’s an interesting point.

You're joking aren't you?! The media love in with Southgate is nauseating. I'm not saying he doesn't deserve the praise like, but honestly not a day goes by without the press running a story about how incredible he is.And Southgate hasn't had anywhere near the amount of credit he should have. Coleman was similar with wales. The media here love to batter a manager that's not doing well, but when they do, they never get the same level of praise.

Honestly it's a constant bombardment of articles, tweets etc as if he's completely revolutionised management by just being a seemingly decent bloke and picking players on form. As I say, he's done a good job undoubtedly, but he's definitely not under appreciated. There was a mass love in about his Waistcoats but I've seen more praise about the love train and the players like Kane. Not that I read much media stuff anyway though so could be wrong.
Managed to navigate his way out of a trickier group than your idol and with worse players, what does that say about Senor Brownshoes? An utter 'kin Turnip.
He's Kevin Keegan without the perm.
It was the Mickey Mouse Nations League. No one's arsed about it. They're just a glorified set of friendlies.Managed to navigate his way out of a trickier group than your idol and with worse players, what does that say about Senor Brownshoes?
If you say so mate, I'm sure you wouldn't be praising Bob if he'd won the competition anyway. It was the Mickey Mouse Nations League. No one's arsed about it. They're just a glorified set of friendlies.

I don't care whether we win the whole thing or not tbh. I just like seeing Pickford and co play well. And I thought the vomit inducing “its coming home” rubbish died with the World Cup. It’s just a fancy way of doing friendlies ffs.
