No idea lol

Just doing it because I like it, still got 2 more years to figure out what I could do after uni, fortunately.
What kind of physics you done up to now? I'm doing general engineering starting 1st year this oct, probs contain some similar material to parts of your course

So far, First year:
  • Mechanics
  • Thermodynamics
  • Waves
  • Special Relativity
Second year:
  • Electromagnetism
  • Condensed Matter Physics
  • Nuclear Physics
  • Quantum Physics
If I were to guess, you'll have done similar mechanics, thermodynamics and maybe condensed matter and electromagnetism???

Love quantum me, antimatter and all those endless questions that arise, yeah done all that but still hate electromagnetism though, never liked it.

What's the galaxy in the first photo? Andromeda?

I'm not an expert, but I think it is.

Those pics I linked were just a DSLR on a tripod. But I've got a Vixen 102M telescope and want to combine it with the Canon 60Da (optimised for Astro-photography) to really get to the next level. Knowing my pace with these things, I'll expect to be able to share meaningful images in about 5 years lol

Doing electronic and electrical engineering - you'll defo do classical mechanics, waves (to a necessary extent) and electromagnetism, and will touch up on some quantum, probably, even though you have absolutely no need for it in engineering really.
