Doing electronic and electrical engineering - you'll defo do classical mechanics, waves (to a necessary extent) and electromagnetism, and will touch up on some quantum, probably, even though you have absolutely no need for it in engineering really.
Yeah I'll need some electrical stuff but planning to specialise in aerodynamics after a while so won't be too much on the electrical side hopefully

Whatever you like mate, personally I'm going after renewables and electrical, so it's pretty much whatever you like - go for that.

What I meant was that you'll definitely have electromagnetism, at least for a semester or two...

I'd say look at the interw3bz, there's people who are well into that that can give you the best possible advice...
With that sort of money to spend try looking on gumtree and ebay to pick up a very good 2nd hand one or contact your local club to see if they can help. I've just picked up a basic telescope non motorised one off gumtree for £10 to start with which was £60- £80 brand new

Anyone see any meteors last night? tonight should also be good fingers crosses if the skies stay clear best just before dawn but should be able to see some once it gets dark. Also a good night to see the ISS if you are in the uk.
