It's kinda asking for it though. Because his statement is so light on facts he is relying an awful lot on emotion and with the history attached to Goodison I can't help but feel the emotion will be to stay there unless something top notch comes along. Is this top notch? Who can honestly say given the information released by Wyness? It sounds right now as though we don't really have any detailed plans for a ground. We have a site, we have involvement from Tesco and that sounds about it.

So it's 50-55,000 seats, which? Will there be room for expansion? How many of those are executive seats? What will be the seat pricing structure? Can fans buy a seat for x number of years? What will the stadium look like? Will elements of Goodison be incorporated into it? What other facilities will it have? Who will own the facility? Who will own the land? Will we gain any revenue from non-match day events? Who gets prominence in the development, us or Tesco? What's the situation with the naming rights?

I'm sure there are many more questions and information people would like to know but we know none of these things yet are expected to vote anyway. Surely the club knows all of this otherwise it wouldn't be pursuing the deal as the only option, why can't they let us know the details? I appreciate some of the financial/contractual details may have legal or corporate confidentiality attached but an awful lot won't.

imho not a very professional beggining to what will be a pr avalanche from the club.

why issue a comment that tells you nothing, whos advising them?

Very good question. I think he hype which is what it is, could be a way to influence the vote. I mean what if the vote was not to go to Kirkby, what are the board going to do. Phone, BK "Terry, sorry old son"

no one - they are cutting costs because moyes needs cash 24/7

wyness has pedigree at the olympics, it does seem strange, unless this is the lesser increment in the pressure campaign that looks like coming.

just found it disapointing, was expecting more

(words spoken regularly in our house, mainly by my missus, but occaisionally by yours truly aftermatch)

Bruce has very eloquently put many of the points I would like to raise, so thanks Bruce!

On a wider note, I can not recall a less impressive presentation than that of Wyness on the official site (his interview on Evertontv) - not only is it full of inaccuracies such as Kirkby "city" centre (since when has Kirkby been a city?), but it is full of meaningless soundbites and generalities.

Without blowing my own trumpet, I've attended Board Meetings of Companies employing thousands of people, and turning over many times that of Everton, and have seen some very strange goings-on, yet never have I seen such ineptitude as that displayed by the EFC senior management.

Perhaps the problem with Kenwright and Wyness is not to do with "heart" and being "evertonians", I would suggest they do not have the mental capacity nor business acumen to deliver what fans want and deserve.

We don't want a "very nice stadium". we want a world beating, best in it's class stadium, nor do we want an uncompetitive (in Premiership winning terms) team, we want to be the best in the Premiership and ultimately in Europe.

If BK and Wyness can't deliver, stand aside for all sakes - NOW!!!!!

I'm starting to wonder what's in your cookies... someone must have switched the white stuff for some other more.... non-friendly.. white stuff.
