Yet another shirt sponsor hardly anyone has heard off.

Hafnia, Keijan, Chang.....now an online bookie.

Between this and Troy Deeney as a transfer target this is turning out to be a miserable week

What happened to Gazprom as shirt sponsor

I'm not entirely sure if this is a serious post or not, but surely the whole point of sponsorship is to increase brand awareness? Therefore it's more in the interests of a company you're not all that familiar with to sponsor us than one who you know well?

Personally, as long as it's not The S*n, I don't really mind who sponsors us. I find it a bit rich to play the morality card about a gambling company when we've spent a decade or so being sponsored by a beer company (an industry which is responsible for at least as much misery as the betting world) and nobody seemed to have a problem then. I've never seen any commentary about how we should be embarrassed of our history as the "Mersey millionaires" which was built on the back of an owner who had built his fortune at least in part through making gambling accessible to the masses. I've yet to see any protests about selling Golden Goal tickets at the ground. I must have missed the objections last summer when we selected an "official betting partner" in William Hill.

I would prefer us to utterly buck the trend and adopt Woodbines as our sponsor. The whole team come out to do the fair play handshake with a fag hanging out of their gobs! I dont know what message it would send out to the young, but it would make me chuckle, and really, thats all that matters! :)

i just don't think sport pesa will be around as a company in a few years, something about them just seems dodgy, can't put my finger on it.

I've heard they're doing a great deal on us next season.

They're doing a 9/10 double and a ones be twos each way hop over the fence good to soft round the bank and a sevens be nines be ten jobs a good'un.
