Comfortably wellied, quelle surprise. The aim for now just needs to be to stay up, and I think the limited game plan and personnel will probably achieve that over the course of the games we have left, but this isn’t good enough, regardless of what BFS inherited. 442 FFS - set up to at least have a pop.

I know I take the piss on here a lot, I suppose that’s how I deal with Everton - either laugh or cry.

But seriously, the abysmal performances from players on massive wages while fans pay big ticket prices, clubs struggle with debt and lower league teams go into administration - the only reason I still bother is because of some vague notion of loyalty. I really didn’t care we got another hiding tonight, and I don’t like not caring about Everton.

The only positive really is that we have now played Chelsea, Spurs and Utd twice.

The fixture list was a massive kick in the goolies and that was what did for Koeman - who actually only lost games to the top 7.

Keep the faith - we’re lucky that there are at least three teams worse than us, and we are in a tricky run of games. Our limitations have been exposed by that, but against the poor teams, we’ll pick up the points we need and will have the chance to regroup next season. Ideally under a different manager, mind...

To be fair, Spurs are considerably better than us, not that we helped in that matter particularly.

But either way, doubt I’ll be arsed watching us against any of the top 6 for a bit now. It’s an utter waste of time.
Sad admission but that's my feelings also.
Sticking to our mini league is the reality.

It’s a life sentence isn’t it mate? We’ve got no choice but to keep the faith.
