I don't believe anymore it's down to the managers. Allardyce hasn't got a PlayStation controller in his hand, these players for large parts of the game are controlling what is going on. So every ball given away, every time we faff about on the edge of the box without even shooting, every time we don't play the ball forward and go sidewards/ back, every time we just have any urgency in the play, it's down to our team not the manager.

Because no matter how negative you think they are, koeman isn't telling the players the same instructions as allardyce is or unsowrth was yet the same players are massively underperforming still.

And I'm not talking about masterclass here. I'm talking football basics. Think back about 40 minutes , spurs (insert other team) get the ball and attack and try to get to our goal as quick as they can to score. We don't, we take So long to get near the box that the defence can organise itself again. When was the last time a wide player who isn't lookman ran and beat a defender? When was the last time we played a positive pass to someone in space, not giving it to tosun or lewen on the channel nowhere near goal? When was the last time the attack actually looked like they had met before?

It's basics football I'm referring to here and I believe now after watching it all season that this squad of players aren't capable of doing it together. This squad needs to be ripped apart because it's just awful at playing football

Well you’ve just stated that we can’t attack and score goals because of the players we’ve got. I don’t believe that is the case as I think it’s down to how the manager is setting us up.

With regard to comments about conceding goals yes we were but Unsworth took over a demoralised bunch of players in the bottom 3. It was always going to take time to turn that situation around. It took him until the West Ham game to get the balance of the team right. That was the last time that we’ve played any decent attacking football.

Allardyce took over a team in 13th with a bit of confidence, coming off the biggest win of the season. He also had a couple of home games against teams that couldn’t score if they wanted to. He kept the same basic team and we got a bit of confidence from picking up a few wins. He’s now struggling because he’s trying to get us playing in a different way from Unsworth. It takes time to change the way a team plays in the season. It took Unsworth time and it’s taking Allardyce time. We’ve got few games in January and a couple of easyhome games. By the end of the month we’ll most probably be playing his style a bit better.

My view on this is that we’ve got some problems with players but they’re more in defence than attack. I think we panicked sacking Unsworth and should have appointed him until the end of the season. I think we’d be further along now as a team.

Anyway my hopes for this season are that we manage to stay up but end up in the bottom half of the league. That hopefully will be enough to see the end of Allardyce and we can get a new manager in for next season.

Holgate looks impressive, but the other options at centre back are relegation material.

Baines is finished and we are playing our third choice right back as left back as we have nobody else.

Big buys Schneiderlin, Klaassen Bolasie are horrific, costing us over 70m and offering us nothing at all.

Other signings Niasse and Sandro are awful, seems everybody else knows this too hence no offers for them.

Gueye cannot pass a football, Rooney passes to the opposition more often than to his team mates.

Lookman is good when given a chance but somehow not trusted. He can't be worse than Lennon surely.

Sigurdsson is shunted into a position he can't play in to make room for Rooney, thus offering us very little.

Tosun looked good, but he'll not be a success in this team. We have nobody who can pass a football. Can't remember the last time somebody played a through ball for our striker to run onto.

The club absolutely stinks, from the inept CEO to the pathetic Kenwright and ambitionless Moshiri who will happily have us stay in the league just to take the TV money, right down to the players on the field, so-called captains Jagielka, Williams, Rooney. Seamus would be a better captain film he injury room, and onto the worst managerial appointment in our history.

We can go down. We've had our purple patch and it's back to reality now with four defeats on the spin. Palace sacked de Boer in four games as they looked awful, yet we'll give Allardyce the time and money to take us down a division with his disgusting football.
