Would like to see a good few outsiders in the mix, I'm in the strange position of rooting for Spurs and Villa when they take to the pitch atm.

Was a strange one. Even though we got mugged by NUFC, on another day we would have scored 5 or 6. THFC v EFC was the outlier.....really not sure why we never turned up.

I think you completely underestimated the team that turned up on the first day. I think most Everton fans underestimated the difference that those 3 new players in midfield would do.

From the 3 games after that, I can't see any reason that Spurs cannot be challenging the top spot(s). There's quite a few teams up there that can get on a roll and be in the mix and that's got to be a good thing.
