Spurs? This season?

Like its Jose, so only a fool would totally discount the chance. But blimey, its high stakes for Levy and the owner. CL via the EL is it, cash wise. They are bleeding cash, have to repay a £100m loan to HMG soon, and meet repayments on a huge debt. And pay players, a lot.

Saleable assets are Kane and Son. Cost of replacements?

Like, that could be us in 4 years time, (doubt it), but as it is, they are in a big big hole.

Am I right in saying that loan is due back this summer?

Think so. No idea if they have used the cash, or just held it, just in case.

I'm sure I read that right, certainly in our business that was highlighted that the terms for repayment were quite quick and stringent (as were countered with the commercial market, which while interest rates went higher there was a lot more fleibility).

Re Spurs I would be amazed if it hasn't been swallowed up. They have spent a lot last summer, and of all the clubs, seemed to be the most aggressive at different points on fans returning. I suspect the aggressive spend war partially on the expectations fans would be in firstly before, then immediately after Christmas.

Even before you factor missing out on CL (which still looks likely) I'm really not convinced that that money has not been swallowed. That Spurs were the ther club alongside Liverpool to consider furlough at the start, despite the awful press it would generate kind of underlines where they are.

As I think I mentioned in the previous post, I would say these Kane rumours are comign from Levy, who will be desperate to push people out of the door. Missing out on CL and potentially even EL (which is a huge reduction of games in that new stadium) will only exacerbate this further.

I have nothing against Spurs really, but purely from an Everton perspective, if they fall away, it's one less team for us to have to compete with next season, so you take it.

I knew the answer but it's just weird, Son Kane Bale Moura etc yet at 70 minutes they'd had 1 attempt which was the goal. I think sadly we are more boring than them haha

Still trying to wrap my head around the fact it was 5-4 when we played each other.

I thought Spurs were quite fortunate yesterday. They took the lead through a moment of quality but other than that only played when chasing the game.

Sissoko got away with what looked like an amateur wrestling move and escaped a booking. There was clear intent from Kane to injure an opponent, elbow/forearm to the neck/back of the head area could've done some damage. Lamela spent the entire time he was on asking for bookings through stupid niggles.

Not qualifying for the Champions League would be bad news for them. Same with the RS. Hopefully we can get our act together and overtake both long term.

Kanes 'challenge' on Gabriel was disgusting.

First the backing in and now this...

Im bewildered how he isnt consistently sent off for dangerous play
