Yeah very fair & if I was in his situation, I have no idea how I would react, but ultimitely he is cutting his own nose off to spite his face. He has enough cash & in 10 years time his regrets will be around his career, not his bank balance

Personally I think he is playing mind games with them. Threatening to return for one last year on £600k per week unless they let him leave on favourable terms.

Don't think he fits City's profile to be honest and the fee would be way
above what we are usually prepared to pay which is circa £60 - £65m.
Probably a better fit for United who would splash the £100m that Levy
will be demanding.

The United link made more sense when they were pursuing the "galitocos" approach a few years back. To be fair to them, they've been more prudent with signings and I just don't see him fitting their style either (which obviously drives the price down).

Pep seems a very principled man, but there must come a moment where he looks at it and thinks Kane gets 30+ in that team, and so there is a figure whereby they put their principles to bed. I could easily see a world where Aguero goes and Kane and Haaland come in for City. Especially if Mbappe stays in Paris as I suspect he will.

I could easily see a world where Aguero goes and Kane and Haaland come in for City. Especially if Mbappe stays in Paris as I suspect he will.

I'll be honest mate, I don't see United paying the fee. If Spurs don't make top 4 (which looks unlikely) they (a bit like Liverpool) have an enormous hole to fill. While Liverpool have higher wages, Spurs have a seasons projections of gate revenue not seen, on top of losing CL and speculating heavily last summer.

Kane has 3 years on a deal, so from that angle they are ok. However I don't see too much money being able to be sloshing about for them. I doubt Levy sells for 70m, but who knows.

This tbh, i don't see any of the really "big" teams stumping up the money for Kane with an injury record like that despite his goals.

Interesting point. He does seem to routinely pick up ankle injuries. But he's not Delph.

Aguero is a bit injury prone to say the least, but definitely an asset for City. Wonder if they'd take the risk on Kane and rely on squad depth?

Having said that, Son might actually be a better fit with this City side.

Mbappe going to the rs isn't he? That's what I heard last anyway and they were already on £323.46p on a go fund me page to get him here.

It's the money that Spurs will want though, still got 3 years left so they will want over £100m. Also if you look at their respective records then Kane runs Delph pretty close on the injury front tbh but Delph has been playing a bit longer.

Quite clear his injury problems are getting worse. It's a shame because he could have been a very good striker without them but guess we'll never know unless he surprises Spurs with a run of proper fitness
