Sounds like they might have jumped the gun on cancelling tomorrow's game vs Rennes:

[Google Translate]

Following the press release published by Tottenham at 9 p.m. this Wednesday, Stade Rennais FC would like to clarify the following facts. In a video conference at 7.45 p.m. between representatives of UEFA, Tottenham and SRFC, the Spurs director of football announced her intention not to play the UEFA Europa Conference League game. Thursday evening. Unilateral decision which has not been confirmed by UEFA in any way.

The Tottenham representative did not want to announce the number of her players affected by the Covid when the rule states that a match must be played as long as the team has 13 outfielders and a keeper.

She argued for a decision by the English authorities without advancing any official document. As the match was not officially canceled by UEFA, Stade Rennais FC upheld their decision to play.

Faced with this "London fog", the SRFC reserves the right to approach UEFA. This lack of fair play is all the more glaring as Tottenham had confirmed by email that the match would be held at the start of the afternoon before warning Rennes of their intention not to play just after their landing in London City.

This postponement really tickles me.
They're competing in the European equivalent of the FA Trophy, can't field a team (allegedly), will probably end up in trouble over it, whilst also adding to an already congested fixture list.
This competition was poorly thought out from day one and I'm sooooo glad we didn't qualify for it.
These aren't the words of a Bitter Blue, just a chap who can see the irrelevance and inconvenience of this shoite competition.
Intertoto Cup anybody???

Not the first time spurs have had games postponed now...
How many times before clubs start getting handed points penalties?

Guarantee we'd be the first

Yeah. The away game vs Burnley that was postponed because of the snow was all Tottenham's fault. We should be kicked out of the League.

Man City have a game postponed when they had 4 players down with Covid. That was probably our fault as well.

The game has been postponed. Talk of the game against Leicester a week today also potentially getting postponed.
Much more of this and teams at the bottom will be calling for cancellation of the season. “We can’t play, we’ve got Omichron. You can’t relegate us”

Spurs now know what’s needed from the Rennes game when rescheduled as Vitesse beat Mura 3-1, meaning a Spurs win will send them through on goal difference as the head to head is level at 1 win apiece. Rennes are guaranteed top spot regardless of result

Think it was us who were told by the FA to postpone the match against City. City done the decent thing in the rearranged game by giving us a spanking.
