Ah right I see now. LCC objected, they were obviously bound too :lol::lol:

And their partners Grosvenor Ltd have objected, knowing full well that if Everton build a ground in Liverpool, Grosvenor will be the most likely to be appointed to make it happen , especially if it was a ground share option.

Funny how KEIOC brigade see Tesco as amateurs. 'Its clear Tescos development is fundamentally flawed' haha

Talk about clutching at straws.

Funnily enough, you sound like the one clutching at straws. :bye:

Kirkby won't happen.

I for one will be absolutely delighted if so. I'll even throw a party.

I hope to god Wyness and Kenwright [Poor language removed] off with it too.

Its getting a bit embarassing now, its conspiracy theorists gone mad. F'[Poor language removed] sake they had a vote and the majority voted for it.

If it goes ahead sound, if it doesnt then sound. Everyone just stop being teds about it and believing blatant hyperbole.

I'm with chico (in a non homosexual way). Bored of the whole debate!

Que sera sera, whatever will be will be, we might go to Kirkby laaaaa, que sera sera (y)

Nope.. because enabling partners at the loop will be industrial and hotels... not commercial rivals for the L1 Project :)

Hence the light industrial bit ;)

EFC have never said 'retail or nothing', Wyness once stated x amount of retail space is needed for a stadium to become viable.

Yes he did, he has done a few times including 1 or 2 radio shows in which he quite clearly stated "Its Retail or Nothing". Also hence why when the recent CABE report came out (A report much lauded by the BK no voters) it also stated they needed this amount of retail units for the enabling money to be enough for Everton

If you see know of somewhere on the internet which has a quote of Wyness saying it's retail or nothing then please show it to me.

As it stands I don't believe that he would say it, is money from industrial companies not good enough for him?

You find me where its stated he hasnt said it, we can both play silly mate

So you would rather us have a stadium in a industrial park than retail park?

Nah mate, not at all. What I said is common sense.

Liverpool City Council aren't going to give their seal of approval behind the Kirkby move now are they? - and either are their development partners.

Am getting bored of the whole debate, should lock threads like this until theres real development.

Cant agree with you...this is THE most important issue in Everton FC's history. Players, managers, owners come and go - the home of Everton is for a century or more. We have to get this move right.

Alternatively, we could just talk exclusively about Moyes transfer warchest, and what our co-efficient for Europe will be next season.
