You seem to think I thought that was a bad thing
How odd - farcical almost
Still, a turnover of £75m - at Goodison Park - imagine that eh?
Turning a profit without selling Wayne Rooney - at Goodison Park - imagine that!
The sooner we ditch that unprofitable hell hole the better I say!
Pffffft!
Almost all of that was due to a better TV deal. Did Kenwright negotiate the deal?
So the club is being well run, cool!
I suppose its unlikely to think we could improve turnover, with a greater capacity, better facilites and offering a better match day service. Shock!
Ha h
Villa etc?Ha ha i beleive his vote was required alright!
So did the clubs you mentioned in your reply to HB make a profit? Or break even?
Villa etc?
I don't know and I don't care much. If they go bust, I don't care. If Everton, however, go bust...
You do realise the debts have to be paid back eventually?
Well dont use them as examples or comparrisons of better run clubs or the pinacle of aspirations, if you dont know.
Frankly im not surprised!
No i didnt mate, you just rocked my world!
The thing is, the whole fanbase loves Goodison - everyone tells us, even the ones who want to leave. Only about 60% want Kirkby.
Everton are making a profit at Goodison - and the whole fanbase is happy.
"If it ain't broke"
Kenwright is ace. Making a profit at Goodison when the rest of the Premier League is scraping down the back of the sofa for pennies. Who would have thought it eh?
So, we stay at Goodison, keep making a profit, and keep the whole fanbase happy.
Everyone's a winner.
Well its about progression mate, everyone loves goodison, but many would agree its flawed.
Kikby while not perfect represents a foot in the door of progression.
Out of the top six last season, how many made a profit?
Out of the top six last season, how many played in a new-build stadium?
Out of the PL mate how many made a profit?
Everton did
Playing at Goodison Park
"If it ain't broke" - and for the club to be turning a profit whilst others don't, Goodison clearly isn't broke
Top man Bill Kenwright!
Thats the crux mate, you may beleive Kirkby wont increase an operating profit i do.
60% agree! And the man whom made the profit does, im in!
60% of 36,000 who were offered the vote
around 24,000?
in a 50,000 seater stadium?
eek!
no, no, "we don't want to do a Leeds" and put all our eggs in one basket - best stay where we are 100% certain Everton can make a profit
