What he said his experience was like the second time was pretty much mine for the first. I was just so damn excited to be watching Jedi, lightsabers, stormtroopers, tie fighters, x-wings, Han, Chewy, the Millennium Falcon, and everything else I couldn't be arsed worrying about plot holes, inconsistencies, or how much was rehashed. It was Star Wars and it was Star Wars done right in my opinion.

There is no getting away from the fact that Episode vii is basically a remake but with a couple of little extras added in. These extras moving into Episode viii are going to be crucial as to how this trilogy will be seen by the masses. JJ Abrams and Disney have been given a bit of a free ride on this film due to the nostalgia and the need for a new Star Wars film which has the feel to the originals. Come the next one and if again we are looking at rehashed stories and the plot not being moved on then the masses may start to turn ala Episode 1-3.

You have given Star Wars fans 'New Hope' JJ, lets see if you can carry the weight of expectation in the next films.
