Shouldn’t be a case of missing out. We’ve been so used to having no more than 5-6 good players that we can’t imagine “dropping“ one of them. We’ve ruined players in the past by overplaying them & having to play when they’re semi fit of out of form.
We finally look like we have a squad. Competition for places is health, keeps players fighting for their place. Rotation is good, keeps players fresh. Our form really dipped this season when we had Mina, Doucoure, Richarlison & DCL out. Mina apart, we’re looking better equipped to cope with injuries now.

We seem to have a unbalanced squad and team in terms of quality ! Great we can bring on richarlison for gray or something ! But most games we’ll be playing Keane and his “give the opposition a head start” mannerism !

Mostly picks itself with Doucoure and the other midfielders rotating from game to game. Against the better sides, he still has to play to give us some added mobility. Otherwise that’s it with Patterson the big remaining question mark.

I've seen him at international level before and he's no slouch. It'll take some time for him to get up to speed with the most intense league in the world, though, I must admit. That should go without saying, really.

A professional athlete will lose a yard or two if he's not been playing competitively for two months. I cannot get any clearer than that.

I like that but VDB isnt our player, we dont have an option to buy, for me if we start him every week and he has a great season all United will do is take him back and get the benefit. Rather give our players game time, nothing against the player i hope he does well, but once we are safe we start planning for next season, chances are he might not be here, which is a shame really, United havent treated him well at all

What’s the point on loans then. If we hadn’t played Barry, Lukaku and Geri in 13/14 we wouldn’t have got 72 points. If VDB Is better than what we have, play him
