We really are not a laughing stock.

We know our struggle but to the outside footballing world nobody gives a toss. We are in and around our usual position, have some good young players coming through and rolled over against a bigger club like we have done for quarter of a century now.

Anyone without a vested interest in the club just sees us as having a typical Everton season.

He needs to be sacked. Having FS as manager is not progression nor is it stability it’s just staying affloat

The most important thing that needs to happen in summer is Walsh's replacement by a competent DOF.
Our terrible recruitment is the biggest reason we're in such a mess.
Surely a competent DOF is someone who's proven themselves in a top league and not spent their entire career in Holland?
To think we had Monchi in our hands but decided his release fee was too high! Brands scares me. Why on earth go Dutch again after Koeman and Klassen?
Moshiri's judgement so far has proven very poor. A couple more mis steps and we could be in great danger.

We have to get an experienced DOF from one of the top 5 leagues in Europe who's teams play fast attacking football. The worrying thing is that Walsh hasn't been sacked yet and replaced.

I hope if he's given the boot then it's made extremely clear that it's because he is worse than abysmal at his job. None of this "difference of directions" bollocks. He's had our pants down more than anyone in recent memory

...the total lack of athleticism in the squad was clear yesterday, once an Everton midfielder or defender was passed there was no powers of recovery. Just watching Hazard break clear against Spurs and seeing Sanchez with the running power and physical strength to get back goalside. Our DoF continually fails to provide that ingredient.

He's in his 60's eggs, bit harsh that. He's a crap DOF though.

Its not his fault, it was all Koeman.

Is the biggest pile of horse manure ive ever read.

I honestly believe that a 3 year old could have spent 300m better than this fella, its honestly a crime what hes done to this club, I no longer just want him sacked, I want him tried in a court of law and then hung for his crimes, in public, then I want his body sent to Syria to be used as target practice.

Is waiting till the summer to late in getting rid of Walsh surely a dof needs to be doing his work now and I suppose the same goes for a new manager (hopefully).
I cannot imagine that we have things in place ready to go as soon as the last game has been played .

I agree but if we are to get Brands in, then at least he’ll have experience of the DOF role over many years compared to Walsh who has clearly failed to adapt and learning on the job is costing us a lot of money. We can’t keep throwing money at the team. We need to buy young and relatively cheap and either sell on at big profit or have players who can be a fixture in the team for 10 years. The DOF role is varied but long-term transfer policy is at the core of it and Walsh has been a huge failure.
