Steven Gerrard: GOT Retrospective

He's the least successful of that England golden generation (if you ignore the keeper(s)).

RB: Neville
CB: Ferdinand
CB: Terry
LB: A. Cole
RM: Beckham
CM: Gerrard
CM: Lampard
LM: J. Cole
ST: Owen
ST: Rooney

I know a lot of that is a reflection for the teams they were playing for too, but if you think Gerrard was the reason he didn't pick up a premier league winners medal, it does say a lot about the winning mentality and how to reflect on their careers.
Multi-talented eh?

BOOM

ROY KEANE FFS!! Imagine him insisting on taking every freekick and penalty Utd ever got, the lad would have been off the scale compared to Lampard and that fraud who thinks hes Mr Liverpool (and make no mistake here, that fcker believes he is!)........

Keane put his place in jeopardy of playing in a Champions Cup Final with pure sacrifice, something Gerrard polarises because with him,,, its always about ME.

hilarious people think gerrard was better than scholes, keane and viera

......insight is from top players abroad, apparently the Barcelona greats are huge fans of Scholes. In Alex Ferguson's book he specifically mentions that players abroad are constantly asking about Scholes and not Gerrard. Iniesta and Xavi both wanted his shirt after they played United in Europe, imagine that.

Kopite media circus has pretty successfully brainwashed people to accept that.

Ironically, this same kopite media also set his last season and last game up for MASSIVE fail.

No trophies, no wembley, home loss to Palace after having a crap game and an overall crap season.

The anti-climax was sensational, the subdued speech and exit from the tunnel just summed it up. This has been his worst season on record and he has been scrutinised for every second of it. The kopite media actually fecked it up for him.
