Naismith is a very good player, works hard, is very intelligent with his movement and can keep hold of the ball, made up he's coming on a free.

Is he definitely coming then, are we seriously in for him?. I'd of thought so if he's now a freebie?!.

If someone cut my contract by 75% I'd be of like a fecking shot not matter what money I was on.

Not convinced he would greatly benefit us though

He had a great understanding with Jelavic at Rangers. Jelavic has gone on record as saying he's his best ever strike partner, which must count for something.

Davey Weir was the one who persuaded Moyes to get Jelavic, so I'm sure he knows all about these Rangers boys and will be in Moyesy's ear if they're any good.

Let's face it, anyone who is a decent player and available on a free is a serious option that needs to be looked at for us. He's a Scottish international, he stood out in Rangers team, he's scored some great goals and been a big player in the big Old Firm games. It's the same debate we always have every time a player playing in the SPL is linked - will he cope with the step up/just how good is he? For a free transfer, aged 25, he's worth taking a chance on. We took a chance on some grock from Argentina that no-one had heard of last summer; I'd say Naismith will be a better bet than he was.

Hell be a free won't he? As long as his knees don't explode, I don't mind a decent player on a free who isn't mcfadzzzzz.

But knowing us if we did get him, well be in a legal battle down the line with the nu-rangers

Would be a decent squad player, we only have Coleman and Gueye who are wingers and they are pretty poor and Osman is when he plays there as well in my opinion so it would give us another option there.

How is he a Judas? Ask the other Nu-Rangers players who also took a 75% haircut for a few months and aren't leaving. And then ask yourself if one of the overpaid players we have now did a similar trick whether you wouldn't want also call them Judas.

I don't see how having short hair makes a difference in all of this.

Shocking really, can't believe they forced him to get most of his hair cut off.
