Pienaar clearly moved for money, he was offered more money by Spurs, so he left, not as clear cut as that, he wanted the same wage as Arteta, we wouldnt give it, Spurs would, we actually got a fee for him.

Arteta actually took a pay cut to move to Arsenal, so not quite sure why you would mention him.

As ive said, I personally think any player leaving Rangers atm is doing the right things.

I just dont see why you think its anything at all similar to what Pienaar and Arteta have ever done.

If you admit you made a mistake and say sorry that would be great.

Oh and admit that Charilie Adam is awful.

I didn't mate, the three contexts and situations are completely different I agree, but daves loose description of a scab can be applied globally - which is really all I was pointing out! The argument was a moral one, rather then factual. just saying some are taking the moral high road, when players have left us in the lurch for bigger and better things, yet we quickly forgave Pienaar and claped arteta home (rightly btw)!

I rate Adam, Carroll and Suarez tbh! Now why would I say that!

Any idea from your lads what the details of the brum bid is for Naismith...wages wise? Apparently he was on £20K pw at rangers and we're (again apparently) offering to double that.

its from my mate toady and he reckons 55k a week which im not so sure about but hes usually never wrong.

It's different. Pienaar and Arteta were consensual with the club they were registered with. This isn't the case with Naismith or his fellow runaways.

To a degree, it's like handing over your wallet with a knife to your throat, but havnt been stabbed yet!

While everton hounered the contracts of both players as well, then it remaines to be determined wheather rangers actually exist anymore!

I wouldn't put any money on the newco, getting any favour of FIFA if they kick up over player registrations would you?

Thats cos we realise players move on, theres ways to move on, Arteta, Pienaar, AJ and theres ways NOT to move on, Rooney and Lescott.

Adam is badly Adam, I admit, he shone in a very poor Blackpool team, but then so would my Nan, Carroll is quite possibly the worst player ive ever seen and I do think Suarez has tons of talent, just a shame hes a horrible human being.

I'm still annoyed over the arteta and Pienaar deals for different reasons- gutted about both, but more upset with the club selling arteta for 10 mill / Pienaar was a bad snide for me - will be untill he shows some bottle, admits his mistake and commits to us!

Adam will be gash with them, he needs to be on the ball he won't get that there and will just be laying it of to rat face.

Carrols a player, he will come good, in the right system!

Suraz has bags of talent but is a massive bulb!

It's the SFA mate, not newco. FIFA will respect the request of a client association for them to make the call. How long that would take is the key question.

Watched a couple of Rangers games last season and he looked pretty good. With about 10 teams sniffing around though, I'm not getting my hopes up!

Were the front runners mate, the deal could be done and dusted as soon as monday, so ive heard.

No chance that b'ham have offered 55k a week, from what i've seen, and from what sheedy says we are front runners, with stoke being the only real team in opposition to our bid.

Sheedy has reported on another site that this deal has hit a snag. His agent is after the best deal and some other club has come in with a better offer. Also reported pienarr is 50/50.
