It's the SFA mate, not newco. FIFA will respect the request of a client association for them to make the call. How long that would take is the key question.

Might be a deeper issue here though could be a civil dispute in the courts rather than football, I.e. breach of contract and counter suits! Thats before you even talk about jurisdiction or wheather that applies to them playing in a different country I.e. England!

Realisticaly though no court is going to force any employee to work for a company even if it's found in the newco favour. What will happen the court may impose a few thousand fine on the player for breach of contract and a few thousand in compo to newco - which I assume whatever club the players sign for will absorb. Thats the best case sceario for newc, but far from a certainty, its not worth their while tbh with bigger fish to fry! Could be long and very drawn out for meagrely Gaines, but costly if there on the wrong end of it! I don't think green is going to be there that long if I'm hones - he's just posturing for me!

To be fair, there was only really one official source suggesting Moyes was on the verge of joining Spurs - TalkSport.

Since Thursday, I've seen all of the "big names" saying Everton are in pole position to sign Naismith. I think it's on the verge of happening.
