Good luck to him, hopefully he can get over his injuries and do well for us. No point dwelling on whether he's a mercenary or not now.
 
Welcome aboard, a signing is a signing and it's before August and before we've sold anyone so I'm amazed like.
 

He is not a mercenary in the slightest anyway for leaving a club that lied and did not keep the contract they had with the player.

I think it shows that he sees Everton as a step forward in his career and likes the club, he had better offers elsewhere, confirmed by many!

Great little free transfer, think he will do well here. Hopefully no more injuries.

I'm guessing he will be fit for start of season and involved a little towards end of pre-season? Pretty sure he was meant to be out for 8-9 months starting November 2011, which would take him up to about now, should have already started fitness and cardio training. Hopefully see some game time end of the month or start of august?
 
If I had a job I loved and took a 75% paycut, then got told we'd be plying our trade in much smaller markets under a new name with no doubt a further paycut....

And I also knew of a company where my mates work in one of the biggest companies in England, and I'd probably get even more money....

I know what I'd do.
 
Davek FFS lad, give your head a wobble. He's what we need. A young hungry player. And he's free. When we signed Jelavic I was asking why we hadn't gone for him instead. Really happy with this.
