He wouldn't need that much more talent to improve that lot. barkley, kone, Gerry and mirallas have no defensive input whatsoever and I can only think of kone scoring one goal with his head. If Naismith was played where he is most efficient we would get allot more out of him

You can have Kone. But the amount of corners I see Barkley head away is always forgotten, Deulofeu has improved drastically in terms of getting back and helping, and Mirallas barely plays so makes no difference.

Can't see any reason for a discussion if Norwich are indeed offering £8m for him again. Take the money and invest it elsewhere on a player we need.

i thought about this, i reckon it's either because
a) other teams are interested so of course will try and start a bidding war; or
b) because we have such a cluster of fixtures coming up, he's using it as a smokscreen to have him available for those games/biding time to find an adequate replacement (although i'm sure they would have known this would happen back in september)

Best wishes to him. Recovered well from his first season. Just doesn't have the technical ability for a young team moving forward.

8m is great business. Invest it in signing some of the talent coming up on free transfers at the end of the season.
