This 8 million pound question is pointless, he wouldn't have left the club even if we had accepted the bid, he is completely aware of the fact that no better club will ever want him than us and he cherishes every minute he can spend at this team, why would he leave a club just below the very best for a rubbish team like Norwich? Just wouldn't make any sense whatsoever.

as I stated technically he was a sub but not an impact sub as he played 98% of the game his game would have been no different imo if he had started!
Glad he came on yet Besic looked good too, but he is not known for scoring!

Agreed, as much as a hat trick from Naisy was a surprise, a treble from Mo would have been earth shattering :)

great performance from him today

no one's ever doubted his work rate or his finishing, and that is exactly the sort of game we need a player like naismith.

and no one should doubt his ability in games like this wehere we're not favourites and have to battle for the victory (despite the great football we played at times today).

he's still not good enough to start most games, or even come off the bench in most games when a team sticks 10 behind the ball. but in the right sort of games against the likes of chelsea he's a huge asset.

i just hope this hattrick doesnt guarantee him a starting place for another 3 months irrespective of how badly he plays, like martinez did last year after his early season flurry

"We've received a bid for you and we don't see you having a place in the team going forward"

Simple. Most players aren't happy to just collect a wage.

I usually wouldn't be his greatest fan but was excellent today. Great finishes. Worked hard and a bit of snidey which was welcome. I think he worked hard off the ball closing down with intensity not standing off.
