Vandalism of a national trust site, of great archaeological interest in an area of outstanding natural beauty, isn't something that one should be getting a slap on the wrist for... it will only encourage like minded morons into similar activities which over time escalate into worse and worse acts of destruction.

I don't have the energy. But, until a political party acknowledges that Europe's malaise is, in part, caused by the transition from a coal powered manufacturing economy to an oil powered manufacturing economy and we need to shift to renewable, job creating energy schemes instead of subsidising the very thing that leaves us uncompetitive and facing extinction then people are going to look to other means to make the point.

My nan didn't rate Stonehenge, said it was too near the road. You can't argue with that.

I'm convinced that greenpeace and just stop oil are right wing groups who's purpose is to undermine the green agenda. They literally do nothing to get people on side and seem to want to cause as much public alienation as possible.

It doesn't seem to really achieve much. I am all for climate protests, but these seem to just make people angry, and this funding might be better spent on anti-misinformation campaigns, green politicians, educational outreach, etc.
