I would have thought the by pass running around Stonehenge is a more worrying problem - my son toured down there on holiday a few years ago - you can't get near the stones it's fenced off now dud to H&S - farcical......

Them and the Avebury Circle are UNESCO protected.

The action (in September 2020) that resulted in News International's papers not going out for one morning is, by some distance, the most effective protest in recent British history. Despite causing no bother to the public and using no violence or threats it resulted in hysterical condemnation from the top and an immediate change in the law to make blockades even more illegal. It is a bit of a mystery as to why, given they had identified such a clearly sensitive spot, they never did it again.

Instead they've turned to causing an annoyance in order to earn clicks and attention from that same press, a form of doing-somethingism which of course does nothing.
