It doesn't seem to really achieve much. I am all for climate protests, but these seem to just make people angry, and this funding might be better spent on anti-misinformation campaigns, green politicians, educational outreach, etc.
You would assume they have tried this kind of thing.

What they are doing now seems to have been created by the frustration of nobody listening or doing anything about it.

People get angry about stuff like equality and being decent humans so this lot have no chance.

I have no idea what they have already tried. I'm not saying they shouldn't do it, it is rather that there are no data/evidence to suggest their campaigns are doing something positive versus changing people's attitudes for the worse.

Agreed, I guess people are aware of them at least.

It's been proven time and time again that the only real way of effectively protesting for genuine political change is through disruptive methods. These stunts undoubtedly pique interest, drive traffic to their websites and garner publicity.

Protest when we allow it, where we allow it and in the manner we allow it is the rule of those who wish to serve only themselves.

Study released this week show it’s like that micro plastics are now in everyone’s spunk but no one gives a fat one and the people most responsible will die without any form of consequence.

Throw some flour on rocks and people lose their mind.
Nice one. Saves me money having to fork out for a new pack of johnnys

What you in for? Armed robbery? 10 year stretch? That’s a walk in the park lad. I’m doing 20 for throwing flour on a rock. I get top bunk.

While I agree about the protest part, it usually is a scale and scope of the protest that will change political will (e.g., massive protests during the civil rights movement)...these folks, it seems, don't have a big enough membership to mount a large-scale protest, so their protests appear to be isolated incidents, spaced too far apart, that fail to mobilize additional citizens. At least that's how I see it...perhaps their membership increases after each one of these protests (??). But I agree that it gets folks talking about them and perhaps even visiting their website.

I would have thought the by pass running around Stonehenge is a more worrying problem - my son toured down there on holiday a few years ago - you can't get near the stones it's fenced off now dud to H&S - farcical......
